Consultancy

I have conducted consultancy projects in various public policy areas, mostly analysing various areas of EU law. This included work for the European Services Strategy Unit (ESSU) and the Scottish Trades Union Congress (STUC) and other entities.

Evaluation

I have conducted a number of evaluations in academia and outside. In the former, this mostly concerned impact evaluations for the Research Excellence Framework (REF), for the latter the evaluation of public policy subjects. These included process, impact and policy evaluations.

In my current role at a small university in Yorkshire, I led a project mapping the various evaluation work that had been conducted by research staff at the university and led a training session on evaluation.
